Benedetto Pietromarchi

Benedetto Pietromarchi (b. 1972, Rome, Italy) is a master ceramicist deeply concerned with the poetry and psychology of flora and fauna, and the pulse of life that travels from the hand through organic materials. Academy trained in Rome, Pietromarchi studied with Niki de Saint Phalle at the Tarot Garden in Capalbio before living and working in London for 15 years. Recipient of the Kenneth Armitage Fellowship from 2009-2011, Pietromarchi has presented three solo shows at Josh Lilley since 2011.

Benedetto Pietromarchi lives and works in Rome.
